Oct. 25, 2022: Nobull has added British track-and-field athlete Jessie Knight to its ambassador roster. Knight, a decorated athlete who competed at the Tokyo Olympics, is currently ranked 14th in the world in the 400 meters hurdles. Aside from her athletic career, Knight is a primary school teacher. Her love of sport and teaching, Nobull said, made a partnership with Knight attractive. Nobull’s athlete roster is strong and includes the likes of NFL standout Mac Jones, CrossFit Games champion Tia-Clair Toomey and several others.The addition of Knight is Nobull’s latest effort to expand globally, specifically in the UK and Europe, after delivering several activations and events in the European market. Next year, Nobull said it will open a community-focused concept store at the new Battersea Power Station in London that will “seamlessly blend equal parts of shopping, café, town hall and functional training space.”

Oct. 24, 2022: Snipes has revealed its Snipes Young Geniuses program, which is an effort created to increase access to and participation in higher education for youth from underserved communities. It will kick off with Snipes Young Geniuses: Innovation Lab, which is a creator’s space that will teach students design and technical skills to create a more diverse and inclusive footwear industry. With this initiative, Snipes said it will partner with the mobile innovation lab STE(A)M Truck for an eight-week curriculum for the program, and the first lab will launch on Oct. 24 in Atlanta and will target high school students in the greater Atlanta metropolitan area. The lab will focus on the fundamentals of footwear design and innovative technology, including sneaker construction and deconstruction, entrepreneurship in the sneaker industry, computer design and 3D printing, consumer interaction and engagement, and more.
Oct. 13, 2022: Tom Brady’s namesake apparel brand Brady has inked a new partnership with star college athlete Shedeur Sanders, quarterback for the historic Jackson State University (JSU) Tigers. As part of the partnership, Sanders will have input on everything from product development to wear testing and will be outfitted in Brady clothing for his upcoming games and throughout the fall season. The son of NFL Hall of Famer Deion Sanders, the quarterback seized headlines across the country when he made the decision to de-commit from Florida Atlantic University and instead attend JSU in support of HBCUs. “I’m so excited to work with the Brady team,” Sanders said. “Tom has been a longtime mentor to me, both on and off the field and I’ve been a fan of his apparel brand since its inception, so this partnership feels like a natural next step. I couldn’t be more grateful and excited to join the list of world-class athletes that represent the brand.”
Oct. 7, 2022: Converse has tapped more than 20 different creatives from around the world for a new film series. Called “Create Now. Create Next,” the new campaign features the talents of musician and actor Vince Staples, DJ and producer Honey Dijon, Canadian basketball player Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, hardcore punk band Turnstile, and British hip hop duo A1 x J1 among others, each person shares their artistic vision through a series of 20 individual, six-second films. In the spirit of experimentation, Converse also enlists longtime partner, Tyler, The Creator to serve as executive music producer for the campaign. As part of his role, he draws from his own archive to present an exclusive instrumental arrangement to serve as the soundtrack for the long form versions of the film in the campaign. What’s more, a playlist of 10 tracks from the campaign – spanning beats from hip hop, rap, afro punk, Latin, Indian, K-pop, and punk – is available on Converse’s Spotify channel. Converse will also be showcasing musicians and highlighting music from some of the 6 second versions of the campaign on Tik Tok.
Oct. 5, 2022: Fendi has released a new video featuring French footballing legend and Real Madrid star Karim Benzema, who was tapped in September as the Italian luxury brand’s new ambassador for its “Faster” sneaker. With over 50 million followers on Instagram, Benzema “embodies the progressive spirit of the Maison’s latest sneaker design,” Fendi said in a statement, citing the player’s recent naming of the UEFA Men’s Player of the Year. Featuring technical fabrics and high-end athletic touches, the made in Italy sneaker features details like an embossed “FF” motif on the sides, corrugated running soles with “FF” on the toes and white “FF” fabric inserts. The new Fendi Faster sneaker, part of Fendi’s fall/winter 2022 collection, is now available on Fendi.com in a range of colors.
Oct. 4, 2022: Off-White is teaming up with Italian football club AC Milan as its official style and culture curator. As part of the deal, Off-White will provide clothing for the men’s and women’s teams, with the former wearing their new official outfits for the first time in their Champions League away match in London this week. According to the brand, the new uniforms advocate for “wearing your heart on your sleeve” with a new “I Support” patch on the left sleeve of the uniform’s jacket. The “I Support” pledge debuts in an original video that joins voiceover narration by current AC Milan’s men’s and women’s players with iconic football objects tagged with “I Support” statements. Matching actions to words, the ongoing partnership will also include community activations and projects to support Fondazione Milan, AC Milan’s charity foundation. Through its “Sport For Change” program, Fondazione Milan works to provide young people — especially the most vulnerable and those in poverty — the opportunity to grow and develop their talents.
Sept. 27, 2022: Merrell chief marketing officer Janice Tennant has won the Marketing Leader of the Year Award by the Women in Content Marketing Awards (WICMA), the brand announced today. The award, according to Merrell, recognized the “exceptional content marketing contributions made by Tennant, and how she has used her voice to inspire and lead others in the industry.” Since joining Merrell in June 2020, the company said Tennant tasked her team with building an agile market strategy to grow market share within her first 60 days. Merrell also said Tennant was responsible for an aggressive digital and direct-to-consumer strategy, which included the development of a strategic roadmap to double its e-commerce business within a year. From a campaign perspective, she led Merrell’s “More Less” effort created to confront “the gimmicks and endless chase of the women’s self-care market” by encouraging people to get outside and get moving. Tennant, according to Merrell, has also worked to enforce its mission to make the outdoors more inclusive by launching a social accountability task force “committed to amplifying diversity and social justice within the company and broader outdoor industry.”
Sept. 21, 2022: Merrell has added trail runners Aum Gandhi and Rachel Tomajczyk to its global athlete roster. The runners — who will be supported by the brand through apparel, footwear, sponsorship and travel to races — are the inaugural members of its U.S. trail running team. “We’re proud to have dedicated, disciplined athletes like Aum and Rachel on our team,” Merrell marketing manager Jessenia Flores said in a statement. “Both athletes’ values match Merrell’s, and their impressive running resumes paired with a passion for the sport and trail community is inspiring to all.”
Sept. 20, 2022: To celebrate the launch of its innovative new Flexa Collection, Franco Sarto commissioned Erika Lemay, the renowned aerialist and founder of Physical Poetry, for a gravity-defying performance that puts the Flexa boots to the test. The first video displaying Lemay’s artistry launched today on Franco Sarto’s social media channels. In a statement, the dancer said, “I thought performing in high-heeled boots would be challenging. When I tried on the Flexa boots and started moving, they felt like a second skin. … My foot felt supported even when suspended by one foot.” The Flexa Collection was developed by creative director Gionata Pagni based on historic Italian shoemaking techniques originating from Bologna. The stretch boots feature an ultra-light and flexible shankless construction with 7mm of handstitched foam cushioning and a contoured fit. Shot by Craig McDean in the Bronx and styled by Katie Grand, the campaign serves as an homage to the past that’s built to inspire the future through a stellar cast of cross-generational culture-makers.
Sept. 13, 2022: Nodaleto has launched its autumn/winter 2022 collection campaign, which serves as an ode to Andy Warhol. Called “15 Minutes of Fame,” the artist’s celebrated quote is at the center of the campaign – a reference to disposable celebrity culture but also an honest remark on Nodaleto’s own signature heel. Through a series of glossy polaroids, the campaign sees anonymous legs, sensual curves and faces that are left out of the frame wearing the brand’s shoes. With references to the masters of photographic composition and female-led performance art, the new visual approach strives to play the role of an art gallery. The brand’s well known mischievous woman is caught on camera acting playfully aka “Nodaleting” — on a bike, getting a tattoo, playing guitar, stepping on a tube of red paint.
Sept. 12, 2022: In celebration of its 20th anniversary, Rag & Bone is launching its fall ’22 collection with a tastemaker-studded event for New York Fashion Week. For the first time, the brand will show its collection in-season, leaving behind the traditional fashion calendar. To commemorate this exciting milestone, the fall ’22 collection will have a prominent role in the evening festivities, showcased on a variety of guests in attendance at the intimate soiree hosted at Greenwich Village’s Carbone. On Sept. 13, three days after the event, the brand will release an exclusive limited capsule of technical apparel produced in collaboration with Fox Racing. On Sept. 24, the brand will release a limited-edition watch designed in partnership between Marcus Wainwright and Casio Vintage. A two-part campaign was also created in conjunction with the Sept. 10 event. The first portion was released Aug. 1 and showcases the new Icons Collection on models Maya Stepper and Mikkel Jensen, photographed by Quentin De Briey. The second portion features model Irina Shayk captured by Ethan James Green, which will be released on Sept. 10.
Sept. 9, 2022: Ami takes us all to a Parisian dinner party for its fall ’22 campaign. Shot by Alasdair McLellan, the setting is intimate and slightly mysterious. A group of familiar faces is reunited in what seems to be a typical Haussmanian apartment. The faces of the campaign include Isabelle Adjani, Riz Ahmed, Xavier Dolan, Mariacarla Boscono, Anna Ewers, Paloma Elsesser, Sage Elsesser and Mona Tougaard. Close to founder and creative director Alexandre Mattiussi, they have all been a part of Ami’s most special moments, including shows and short films. “I was surrounded for the occasion with people that I truly admire and whose work I love, both in front and behind the camera,” Mattiussi said. “The dinner concept came quite naturally, as it remains one of my preferred ways to socialize and meet new people. I am very proud of this campaign, I believe that it really shows what Ami is about, and it allows us to reaffirm once more our values in an inspiring way.”
Sept. 8. 2022: Ugg has introduced its new fall ’22 global campaign. Called “Feels Like Ugg,” the brand has paired signature styles, including an array of apparel and outerwear pieces, with ten multi-hyphenate individuals. Ambassadors seen in the campaign include model and land protector Quannah Chasinghorse (she/her); comedian Naomi Watanabe (she/her); professional BMX athlete Nigel Sylvester (he/him); musician Hwang Soyoon (she/they); chef DeVonn Francis (he/him); artist and designer Kiddy Akita Lou (she/they/them); stylist and model Gillean McLeod (she/her); and models India Graham (she/her); Alexis Ruby (she/her) and Elibeidy (she/her); all possess the Ugg brand’s principles, which was lensed by noted Los Angeles-based photographer Arielle Bobb-Willis (she/her).
Sept. 7, 2022: Red Wing Shoe Company is recognizing the important work of safety professionals who protect workers through its “For Work That Moves The World” initiative, which shares the stories of safety professionals and their contribution to the operations and advancement of our nation. Some of the stories Red Wing is sharing includes Quentin Johnson, regional safety manager for MP Nexlevel, an APi Group company, who believes all of life’s best moments are made possible by safety. Sept. 6, 2022: Boohoo has tapped Kourtney Kardashian Barker as its newest ambassador with a focus on sustainability. As part of the deal, the duo will release two capsule collections. Launching this month, the year-long project started with design meetings, where Kardashian Barker posed questions about the possibility of using the partnership to discuss the challenges of sustainability in fashion and help people make more informed choices. As the design team worked with Kardashian Barker to develop the first 46-piece capsule collection, discussions with global industry experts began, and Kardashian Barker worked to gain a better understanding of the challenges the fashion industry faces in this space. The entire journey has been captured as part of a social content series and gives a first-hand account of the experts they met on and off camera, the conversations they had, what they discovered and how this continues to inform the project and the Boohoo brand into the future. The first limited edition 46-piece capsule includes Boohoo’s first foray into vintage, with two key styles custom sourced exclusively for this range. The collection will be available on Sept. 13.
Sept. 6, 2022: Saks has tapped singer and actress, Chlöe Bailey, for its new fall ’22 campaign. The campaign features content across Saks-owned channels and partner-owned editorial platforms. In The Edit, Bailey shares how she makes her own rules for fashion, what sparks her creativity and discusses her style and career evolution. Throughout the campaign, she can be seen wearing some of the season’s most daring fashion from brands like LaQuan Smith, Mônot, Khaite and Gianvito Rossi. Bailey also shows off her charismatic personality in a video that can be seen on the Saks Instagram (@saks) and YouTube (Saks) channels. In the video, she reviews runway looks from Alaïa, Burberry, Balmain and Isabel Marant, using only emojis. Saks is also partnering with internet media, news and entertainment company, BuzzFeed, for a piece showcasing the seasonal campaign and Bailey’s fashion inspiration for fall. In their second campaign for the company, the father and son duo is portrayed beyond the spotlight, in a distinctive, more personal frame celebrating their natural charisma. Shot in London by photographer Annemarieke van Drimmelen, the series of portraits stands out with an intimate atmosphere, emphasizing the authenticity of the actors’ bond. The images feature items from the fall/winter 2022 collection, including sophisticated tailored pieces and contemporary icons such as the Vagabond overshirt, a hero garment showcasing the new intersection of formal and casual.
Sept. 6, 2022: This fall, Gap puts the spotlight on icons, showcasing a collection of essential classics designed to dress generations of culture shapers. Starring a cast of culture shapers, including renowned actress Selma Blair – a New York Times best-selling author and mother with multiple sclerosis advocating for a more inclusive world – and UK performer Labrinth – a humanitarian connecting souls through the power of music – the cast of Icons is represented by artists and trailblazers, all of whom use their platform and voice to push culture forward. The campaign was concepted by Gap global creative director, Len Peltier, and directed by Koto Bolofo, paying homage to Gap’s icons that have defined the standards since 1969, designed to dress generations. The brand is also launching Gap Logo Remix project, which invites artists to design a unique Gap logo. Through customer voting, the top three designs will become Gap NFTs and physical hoodies that will be sold on gap.com. Artists will have an opportunity to express their creativity and individuality with their take on the iconic Gap logo.
Sept. 6, 2022: Billie Eilish stars in a new set of images and video for Gucci’s newest eyewear collection. The new campaign takes viewers on a suspenseful, dreamlike car ride in a nod to the atmosphere of the film noir genre. Blending retro allure and modern sophistication, the new eyewear collection is enveloped in the campaign’s mysterious mood. In the first visual, Eilish wears caravan sunglasses in black acetate enriched with gold-toned Gucci script logo. The artist is also captured sporting a cat-eye design in pink and an ‘80s-inspired oversized sun mask elevated by the Gucci script logo on the temples.
Sept. 6, 2022: Bonobos has tapped actor and comedian Nick Kroll for its new fall 2022 campaign. In a homage to television programming of yesteryear, the viewer follows Kroll as he finds himself (barely) breaking a sweat in a fitness/workout infomercial, answering tough questions from a surprisingly familiar talk show host and even posing in some steamy late-night programming – viewers can text the number in the spot for a fun surprise too. In addition to pants, the campaign features key items from the menswear brand’s fall 2022 line including tuxedos, Riviera short sleeve shirts and performance T-shirts. The campaign will run digitally on web, social media and paid social, through linear TV and OTT and will be featured prominently in Bonobos Guideshop locations across the United States from Sept. 6 through mid-November. The creative concept was developed and produced in partnership with Transport New York.
Sept. 3, 2022: Following Serena Williams’ exit from the US Open singles tournament on Friday night, Nike has released a new brand film celebrating her legacy. Dubbed “By Changing Nothing, She Changed Everything,” the 60-second video is narrated by Zendaya and highlights how Williams impacted the world while being herself, through her grace and talent, and never changing. “Serena Williams redefined what it means to be a true champion,” Nike said in a statement up on the release of the new video. “Her legacy transcends sport and has inspired generations. We look forward to continuing our long-standing partnership with her. And, we thank her for all she has done and will do in the future. Here’s to never changing who you are.”

Sept. 1, 2022: DSW has tapped college athletes C.J. Stroud and Jaxon Smith-Njigba as style authorities for men’s footwear. The retailer said in a statement that the partnership is aimed to “attract a new generation” of young consumers that are reaching for the latest menswear trends in footwear and the best-performing styles in athletics. “DSW men’s is growing as we continue to acquire and engage new male customers. As part of this growth, we are investing in partnerships for DSW to build awareness of our incredible men’s assortment,” said DSW chief marketing officer, Julie Roy, in a statement. “Leveraging the style authority of young athletes like C.J. and Jaxon speaks to current and new customers in relevant and inspiring ways.” The Stroud and Smith-Njigba partnership officially launches Sept. 2 at DSW.com and all 500 store locations. The styles selected and worn by C.J. Stroud and Jaxon Smith-Njigba include top brands like Adidas, New Balance, Crown Vintage, and Vince Camuto. Sept. 1, 2022: Diesel has launched a quite literal larger-than-life fall/winter ‘22 campaign bringing a world of Diesel-clad giants to a metropolitan setting. Models become billboard cutouts wearing the fall/winter collection, which merge with the skyline of an urban landscape, rivaling the scale of the jutting architectural towers. Photographed by Johnny Dufort with art direction by Chris Simmonds and creative direction by Glenn Martens, the “Larger-Than-Life” campaign creates a bold juxtaposition between the imposing dimension and structure of city skyscrapers and Diesel’s audacious human element.
Sept. 1, 2022: CEO Massimo Renon’s relaunch program receives a further boost with the roll out of United Colors of Benetton’s new fall/winter 2022 campaign, conceived by new creative director Andrea Incontri. The aim is to raise the fashion quotient, celebrating diversity with an intimate approach and renewed aesthetic codes. Photographed by Giampaolo Sgura, the images feature neutral backgrounds against the standout colors of Benetton’s apparel. “You can be everything,” says United Colors of Benetton’s new Instagram profile tagline. It’s the start of a new phase, in which the celebration of diversity that has always been the Ponzano brand’s hallmark, takes on a more intimate, contemporary nuance, linked to the infinite facets of each individual. The new campaign will appear nationally and internationally on billboards and online and offline media, as well as on the brand’s digital channels.
Aug. 30, 2022: Matthieu Blazy, creative director of Bottega Veneta, has released the campaign for his debut winter 2022 collection for the Italian luxury brand. For this campaign, Blazy tapped a range of different photographers, cinematographers and models to capture the “alchemy of a multiplicity of viewpoints,” the company said in a press release. “Bottega Veneta was created by a collective of artisans,” Blazy said in a statement. “This is the history, and this is how we approached the campaign: together, with many different ways of seeing.” Here, Blazy’s ‘foundation collection’ begins its journey from backstage, at San Fedele in Milan, moving on to the Horst Festival in Belgium, returning once more to Italy, ending on the southern coast. The campaign brings Blazy’s notions of craft in motion and quiet power to life in 41 still and moving images shot mainly on film. The cross-generational cast that wore the collection on the catwalk, continue to wear it throughout the locations of the campaign. Utilizing several young image-makers who had never shot fashion before as well as established photographers and cinematographers from other fields, each brought a fresh and unscripted sense of seeing to the collection.
Aug. 29, 2022: Neiman Marcus has launched its fall 2022 campaign. Titled “Live Your Luxury,” this 360-degree campaign includes advertising, in-store visuals, The Fall Book, events, digital content and videos. According to the company, this new campaign encourages its customers to “inhabit and move through life in a way that’s true to the individual, with assurance, boldness, eclecticism, radiance and purpose.” Shot on location in New York City and the surrounding tri-state area by a roster of top creatives, the imagery and videos highlight 418 designer brands across women’s, men’s, children, home and beauty. Plus, the retailer’s Fall Book is packed with interviews with Donatella Versace and Casablanca’s Charaf Tajer, and a Q&A with David Yurman’s Evan Yurman. This printed tome–a staple in Neiman Marcus’ storied history–also features Valentina Sampaio on the cover. Her turn marks the first time a transgender woman has appeared on the Book’s exterior. “This campaign signals a reimagined perspective of luxury, which, ultimately, means something different and often very personal to the individual,” Daz McColl, Neiman Marcus’s chief marketing officer, said in a statement. “It is not just about styles or trends–and the unspoken expectations that come with them. It’s about how you wear a piece or a look, when you wear it, why you wear it, and what it means to you.”

Shot by fashion photographer Melinda DiMauro in New York City, the campaign features models Anna Jonynas and Francine Jacque and is styled by Casey Trudeau. The moods throughout the campaign are innovative and youthful, each suited to different aspects of the modern woman’s life – exploring her sophisticated, passionate personality and her playful spirit. From the chic, Featherweight ‘Nalah’ to the ‘Sanaa’ platform wedge, each timeless, wearable style stands out against Manhattan as a beautiful backdrop.
Aug. 25, 2022: “I’ve always been charmed by cinema. For its power to tell stories that can probe human adventure and its drift,” began Gucci creative director Alessandro Michele’s notes on the new “Exquisite” campaign, which draws inspiration from a series of iconic films by the late director Stanley Kubrick. Scenes from movies like “2001: A Space Odyssey,” “A Clockwork Orange,” “Eyes Wide Shut” and “The Shining” are revisited by Michele and reimagined by looks from his latest collection for the house. “I’ve always imagined my collections as films able to convey a cinematography of the present: a score of stories, eclectic and dissonant, that can sacralize the human and its metamorphic ability.” To bring this campaign to life, Gucci worked with the University of the Arts London, home of the Stanley Kubrick Archive, as well as Warner Bros. Consumer Products and the Stanley Kubrick Film Archives. Replicas of the original costume designs were curated by Milena Canonero and Charlotte Walter.

Shot by Rafael Pavarotti, this season’s campaign reveals a dreamlike setting, echoing the show’s set, which features the Alexandre-III Bridge – a symbol of the meeting between past, present and future. A tribute to the house’s legacy, this series of photographs “defies the flow of time so as to be more firmly anchored in the present than ever before,” the French luxury brand said in a statement. The winter 2022 men’s line explores Dior’s heritage, reinterpreting it through the prism of modernity. Men’s artistic director Kim Jones initiated a “conversation” with Christian Dior, which celebrates the spirit of Paris and the love of French fashion.
Aug. 23, 2022: Skechers has signed British musician, presenter and entrepreneur Myleene Klass as ambassador for the brand’s footwear and apparel offering across the UK and Ireland. Kicking off this month, Klass’ inaugural Skechers campaign will launch the star’s long-term partnership with the brand. Klass joins a team of Skechers ambassadors that includes musicians Ava Max, Chesca and Willie Nelson; television personalities Joanna Krupa, Brooke Burke and Amanda Kloots; Dodgers pitcher Clayton Kershaw; and a slate of retired sports stars such as football players Jamie Redknapp and Michael Ballack, American football player and broadcaster Tony Romo and iconic boxer Sugar Ray Leonard, among others. “We have established stores across Great Britain and Ireland, where we see many opportunities for growth—and now with Jamie Redknapp for men and Myleene for women, we’re fully bringing this U.S.-based brand to life in the UK and Ireland and tailoring our global vision to connect with locals everywhere,” Peter Youell, managing director for Skechers in the UK and Ireland, said in a statement.
Aug. 22, 2022: DKNY has launched the “Today I Feel” fall 2022 campaign. Shot by Sam Rock, the new campaign features a diverse cast of talent including model and climate champion Quannah Chasinghorse, Olympic fencer Miles Chamley-Watson, rockstar and activist Julia Cumming, and global singer-songwriter Yendry. In a press release, DKNY said that the campaign celebrates and supports the emotional comfort of all those who share and wear exactly how they’re feeling. The campaign features creative with the prompt “Today I Feel” followed by a variety of moods and emotions. Individual, uplifting, and at times, stirring, the text captures a wide range of perspectives, experiences and ideals of the modern New Yorker. Each talent appears in hero styles from the fall 2022 collection: checked suiting, vegan leather, and statement outerwear for her; athleisure sets, fresh tailoring, and easy essentials for him.
Aug. 19, 2022: Boss has tapped Chinese Olympian swimmer Wang Shun as its newest brand ambassador. “I’m very honored to become a brand ambassador for Boss,” said Shun. “I’m excited and looking forward to working with my all-time favorite brand to inspire more people to pursue their own dreams.” A true champion in the pool and out, Shun is the newest member of the Boss crew, and joins Lee Min-ho, Anthony Joshua, Matteo Berrettini, Khaby Lame, Future, and Alica Schmidt in this star-studded cast. “Wang Shun always stays true to himself and dares to push the boundaries. Aug. 17, 2022: Tamara Mellon has tapped famed super model Helena Christensen to star in the designer’s fall ’22 campaign. The collection takes inspiration from the night sky with celestial forms seen in Mellon’s signature crystalline heels. In the ads, Christensen can be seen modeling shoe styles such as the Limelight heels and the Trinity Mid-Calf boots, while walking through the streets of New York City. “I have always admired Helena’s work and outstanding personal achievements — for me her elegance and unique sense of style make her the quintessential Tamara Mellon woman,” said Mellon, who noted that she met Christensen in the ’90s in London.
Aug. 17, 2022: Nobull has announced several name, image and likeness (NIL) deals with up-and-coming football stars today, led by Heisman Trophy-winning quarterback Bryce Young. The brand has also signed UNC wide receiver Josh Downs and Georgia tight end Brock Bowers, among others. Nobull said via statement that it will follow Young and other athletes as they navigate the college football season and work toward the 2023 NFL Combine and NFL Draft. Today’s news comes a day after Nobull revealed it has become the official Combine training partner of the NFL. With the partnership, Nobull said via statement that athletes participating in the Combine will be outfitted in its training apparel and footwear, and that it will provide dedicated training and warm-up spaces for athletes as part of the experience.
Aug. 12, 2022: Bruno Magli has released its new autumn/winter 2022 campaign. Titled “The Protagonists,” the concept explores the mix of romance from old Italian movies with modern love. “The damsel in distress is now an empowered woman,” the Italian footwear brand said in a statement. “Couples that complement each other instead of one needing the other. Two strong protagonists who are in control of their story. This frame merges the classic with the new, updating old-school values with the modern day.” This is a story that reflects Bruno Magli’s latest collection. For fall, the brand has updated classic footwear styles through a modern lens.
Aug. 11, 2022: Cole Haan has launched the “Work For What You Believe In” campaign, highlighting its new fall 2022 collection. The campaign features twelve entrepreneurs, creatives, and personalities including interior designer Nora O’Neil; style editor Yang-Yi Goh; poet, writer and creative director Joekenneth; and founder of Nuna Awaq, Juana Burga. The full cast of fall 2022 campaign will be released in three parts on a monthly basis starting today and continuing through October. Aug. 4, 2022: Birdies has launched the second iteration of its “What are You Running?” campaign. As part of the brand’s ongoing mission to empower and support women, the new campaign features financial pop star Haley Sacks aka Mrs. Dow Jones who runs “Finance Is Cool,” a financial literacy platform that revolutionizes money management by offering people tell-all tools to get ahead—and stay there. Aug. 3, 2022: Valentino has tapped Zendaya and Sir Lewis Hamilton for its latest campaign. Shot by Michael Bailey Gates, the “Euphoria” actress highlights the brand’s use of the signature Barbiecore-esque Pink PP color with a head-to-toe look featuring the bold color. Formula 1 driver Sir Lewis is also seen in the color in an image shot by Nicolas Kern. The signature hue has sent Valentino into the stratosphere, skyrocketing their notoriety and relevancy within the fashion landscape.
July 27, 2022: Malone Souliers has released its autumn/winter 2022 campaign. This new marketing spot features the brand’s men’s and women’s range of footwear from the Yuri platform in pink satin, or the Claudia cowboy boot for women, or the Dali chukka boot and Andre sandal for men. “Style can sometimes seem like a passive thing – you choose the items you like and allow them to represent you – but it’s very much an active process,” Mary Alice Malone, founder and creative director, said in a statement. “It’s the practice of defining and redefining the self in a way that feels empowering. July 27, 2022: Just ahead of the back-to-school season, Gap is celebrating belonging with newly released creative inspired by the children’s book of the same name, “Everyone Belongs,” by Heather Avis. The new fall 2022 GapKids campaign features a wide range of real kids of all abilities and special talents, including those of Avis’s own children with Down syndrome. Concepted by Gap creative director Len Peltier, shot by Jack O’Connor and directed by Lauren Sick, the cast of kids showcase their individual styles and the joy they feel from being who they are and doing what they love. Beyond the campaign, GapKids is hosting its first-ever digital talent show, encouraging kids across the country to participate and show off their very own talents and skills. There will be a call-to-action for families to upload videos of kids performing their talents to social media, using the hashtag #GapKidsBelong, with a range of participants highlighted on future GapKids channels and campaigns. July 26, 2022: First round draft pick AJ Griffin has officially signed a brand ambassador deal with The Athlete’s Foot (TAF), following his selection by The Atlanta Hawks. The Atlanta-based retailer identified the former Duke basketball player for the partnership, with both Atlanta and North Carolina being key markets for the business. As a TAF ambassador, Griffin will make in-store appearances in both North Carolina and Atlanta during the coming months. Each of his appearances will support a local non-profit organization that falls within the TAF Impact focus areas of local/underserved communities, minorities, children in need, empowering women and homeless. “I am so excited and honored to serve as an ambassador of The Athlete’s Foot,” Griffin said in a statement. “From visiting the store while at Duke to get my hands on the newest drops to now having TAF welcome me to Atlanta, I couldn’t ask for a better partner to align with.”
July 14, 2022: Alexander McQueen has launched a new film featuring its Sprint Runner sneaker. Directed by award-winning director and visual artist Sophie Muller, the short film stars singer, songwriter and dancer Mettenarrative. In the film, Mette wears a corset dress with oversized silver metal hook-and-eye detailing and an asymmetric drape skirt in both black and tea rose satin. The dresses are teamed with the McQueen Sprint Runner in classic white. A modern and streamlined variation of a classic running sneaker, the Alexander McQueen Sprint Runner was first seen on the women’s spring/summer 2022 runway. It has a laced, metal free white leather upper and an exaggerated rubber sole. July 11, 2022: Vans has released a campaign with Anderson .Paak for his new “Vanderson” collection. The new campaign, dubbed “Classic Since Forever,” features the eight time Grammy-award winning artist drumming in full ‘70s-inspired Silk Sonic regalia, including his signature mushroom wig and styles from his new Vans collab. Paak’s Vanderson collection features updated takes on the footwear brand’s EPaak Sport along with the classic Authentic and Old Skool silhouettes. More Vans ambassadors will join the “Classic Since Forever” initiative in the coming months as well, with model Paloma Elsesser set to front the fall campaign.
July 7, 2022: Birkenstock highlights the launch of its new #Bold collection – featuring premium updates to its popular Arizona and Boston models – in a new campaign. Takashi Okabe, director of London menswear store Clutch Café, and James Otter, a Cornwall-based master woodworker, star in the campaign. A launch event was hosted on July 6 by Okabe at Clutch Café, which will be one of a limited array of retail partners for Birkenstock #Bold. July 7, 2022: The Accessories Council has announced entries are now open for the 4th annual Design Excellence Awards. According to the organization, this year’s awards will celebrate outstanding new and innovative products offering finalists and winners an exciting platform to celebrate their products. Entry categories this year include two footwear groups – over $250 and under $250. July 6, 2022: Fendi has released its autumn/winter 2022 ready-to-wear campaign featuring Bella Hadid. Shot in Rome by Craig McDean, with creative direction by Ronnie Cooke Newhouse, Hadid wears women’s artistic director Kim Jones’ latest collection for the Italian luxury house. The collection reworks and pairs geometric prints and sartorial styling. Inspired by Delfina Delettrez walking into the Roman headquarters dressed in a printed blouse stolen from her mother’s wardrobe, Jones excavated the house’s history to rediscover spring/summer 1986: a celebration of Karl Lagerfeld’s love for the artistic movement. “The best place to explore the Fendi archives is through the Fendi wardrobes,” noted Jones. “And these are collections which, although they come from the past, feel very now.”
July 5, 2022: Boss has inked a new deal with the Aston Martin Aramco Cognizant Formula One Team (AMF1) as its official fashion partner. Starting next year, the German manufacturer will design and develop looks for the AMF1 team – including formal apparel for its race drivers and a range of high-performance race and travel wear for the entire team. In addition, the Boss name will return to the motorsport series when its logos are featured on the AMR22’s bodywork. It was first seen at this past weekend’s British Grand Prix – held at Silverstone, the home of British motor racing, on July 1-3. The partnership is set to explore and extend its collaboration beyond the track. In one of its first initiatives, it will jointly develop a limited-edition capsule collection featuring modern performance wear, due to be released in 2023.
July 1, 2022: Duke + Dexter is proving that style — and a competitive spirit — are ageless. The British footwear brand has unveiled the latest chapter in its L.A.-theme spring/summer campaign, and it’s set at the Holmby Park Lawn Bowls Club in Beverly Hills, Calif. The brand visited the club in February and took on the seasoned pros in a friendly game. “We got absolutely murdered — both on the field, but also off it in terms of swagger and fits,” said Duke + Dexter CEO and co-founder Archie Hewlett. The players were outfitted with the brand’s sporty and casual footwear styles, but otherwise styled themselves. “They just came dressed like true gramparents!” added Hewlett.
June 22, 2022:Snipes has announced “Crack the Code,” the retailer’s nationwide initiative that aims to “close the learning gap, promote digital equity and build the next generation of STEM leaders.” The campaign, Snipes said, will also shed light on the digital divide and will work to support communities that lack computer and online access. As part of the campaign, Snipes said it will build computer labs in key retail markets throughout the country. The computer labs will include laptop and desktop devices, iPads, printers and smartboards, as well as act as community hubs and provide access to those who don’t have reliable at-home internet access or devices. What’s more, Snipes said the labs will provide educational programming and digital literacy training, with an expectation that K-12 students, college students and adult learners “will be able to easily access the basic computer courses and continuing education courses that will be held in the labs.” Snipes confirmed it has already opened its first computer lab, which is located at the Wyckoff Gardens housing complex in Brooklyn, N.Y.
June 14, 2022:DTLR has partnered with the U.S. Army to provide educational and career opportunities in communities throughout the country. According to a statement, they will host block parties this summer to bring the aforementioned opportunities, fun and food to neighborhoods in Washington, D.C. and North Carolina, also promoting the advantages of the U.S. Army ROTC College Program. The first will take place on July 30 in Washington, D.C. from 3-7 p.m. at Unity Health Care. Also, the Army will sponsor the fall homecoming DTLR 2022 HBCU Tour, which will give it access to students at select institutions across the country, and DTLR will become the first retail partner of the Army’s PaYS program that guarantees soldiers an interview and possible employment at a corporate or management level at the retailer after leaving the Army.
June 7, 2022: Golden Goose unveiled its new Ball Star Campaign, bringing the popular sneaker back to the brand. The shoe draws inspiration from the world of basketball of that time, recalling the style codes of those years in the small details. The campaign accompanying the release, titled Roll with Time campaign, emphasizes the timeless identity of the Ball Star and shows the shoes during the different eras from the ’80s to present day. June 1, 2022: This year, Saks Fifth Avenue celebrates pride month with its “Show Your Pride” campaign featuring singer and drag performer Adore Delano, designer Christian Cowan, actress Dominique Jackson and comedians Jes Tom and Sam Jay. In addition to the digital components, the Saks Fifth Avenue flagship windows are being transformed to create a deconstructed pride flag, which will be on view from June 2 to June 16. Saks is also hosting a private Pride-themed variety night with Stonewall Inn Gives Back Initiative at Le Chalet at L’Avenue at Saks on June 8. This is the fourth consecutive year that Saks has supported the LGBTQ+ non-profit.
May 31, 2022: Prepared meal delivery service Freshly and Asics are collaborating to create a range of dietician-designed mealswith a goal of helping optimize the performance and recovery of runners. According to a statement, the Freshly and Asics meal plans will feature an array of meals made with clean, whole-food ingredients to let runners skip marathon meal-prep in order to focus on the run ahead. There will be three meal plans — pre-race (carb-supercharged with less fat and fiber), post-race (featuring moderate levels of protein and carbs) and sustainable wellness (which are carb- and calorie-conscious) — and runners can select the plan or plans that best fit their training needs. The companies said runners will receive an auto-populated cart with the corresponding meals that are curated by Freshly’s in-house nutritionist, which are ready to eat in three minutes or less. May 31, 2022:Lululemon has added two track-and-field athletes as ambassadors: Olympian Tara Davis and Paralympian Hunter Woodhall. May 24, 2022: Clarks Originals has released a new documentary short, “Soles of The City.” Directed by Set Free Richardson, the short film features first-person accounts from cultural icons such as April Walker, Ronnie Fieg, Futura, Dave East, Ghostface Killah and Raekwon, as they describe their introduction to the Wallabee and how the classic Clarks style became synonymous with hip-hop in its most formative era. Tracing the emergence of the brand’s relevance to its popularization among Jamaican immigrants arriving in the U.S. during the late ‘70s and early ‘80s, the film goes on to illustrate the deep-rooted connection between the sneaker-alternative and the formation of new communities defined by resilience and forged identity. First introduced in 1967, the Wallabee has an enduring legacy and ties to many different sub-cultures and countercultures throughout its history. While hip-hop established itself as more than just an underground phenomenon, the Wallabee became the uniform for artists like Run DMC, Slick Rick and KRS1 who wanted to stay true to the genre’s Caribbean diaspora roots. May 19, 2022: Fila has entered into a sponsorship agreement with 26-year-old tennis star Barbora Krejcikova, the No. 2 ranked player on the WTA Tour. Krejcikova, the 2021 French Open champion, is back on the court May 19 as she starts here defense of her women’s singles tennis title in Paris, wearing Fila’s new Center Court Collection. Krejcikova was also the 2021 French Open women’s doubles champion, hitting the court withKateřina Siniaková. Krejcikova’s most recent Grand Slam singles result was making it to the quarter finals at the Australian Open in January. “Barbora has made incredible strides to elevate her game over the last few seasons,” Fila global chairman Gene Yoon said in a statement. “Her rise to a top 5 ranked player in singles and doubles has been both impressive and inspiring, as she has worked to cement herself among the WTA’s top stars. May 9, 2022: Mr Porter has launched a year-long campaign that “seeks to re-establish its core values by taking stock of where the brand is, reflecting on the progress made in the last 11 years and looking boldly ahead to the future,” the online fashion retailer said on Monday. Called “Discover Mr Porter,” the campaign, which spans across three short films, focuses on the themes of belonging, identity, and exploration. According to the e-tailer, the ambition of the campaign is to celebrate today’s modern world and embrace its complex makeup, while showcasing Mr Porter not only as a style destination, but as a place of discovery and self-expression. “The beauty of ‘Discover Mr Porter’ is that each film will mean something completely different to each person,” Ben Palmer, creative director at Mr Porter, said in a statement. “Across the three films, the campaign evokes our core pillars and signifies a pivotal moment in Mr Porter’s evolution, allowing people to discover and rediscover our brand in a refreshed light.”
May 5, 2022: Malone Souliers has released its spring/summer 2022 runway collection campaign inspired by the color-soaked travel photography and dazzling jet set style of the 1960s and ‘70s. The images showcase the runway collection against a leisurely backdrop of candy-striped lounge chairs, neon pool floats, and shimmering blue waters. Vivid hues, lightweight constructions and translucent textures are key themes in the collection. April 28, 2022: Puma has revealed its “For All Time” marketing campaign, an effort that highlights its legacy as a classic sneaker brand and “examines the meaning of the word classic through products, content and impact.” The brand tapped a group of culture influencers “who have shaped the sneaker game over the last 50 years” to pull this off, dubbed “The Collective,” and tappedPuma basketball and classics creative director Jay-Z and Emory Jones of Roc Nation as executive producers. April 27, 2022: Livestream shopping platform NTWRK has teamed up with Panera for its first-ever “Day of Craveable Drops.” The activation is described as “one full day featuring eight of the most craveable products from the most craveable creators.” For this project, NTWRK tapped charismatic and food obsessed rapper/producer T-Pain to host the full-day of drops, airing exclusively on the NTWRK app on May 4. From art prints and apparel to collectibles and footwear, NTWRK’s Craveable Drops are a curated assortment of the world’s most hyped brands and products. April 27, 2022: Stitch Fix is joining forces with Emmy Award winning actor and producer Keegan-Michael Key for its new “Stitch Fix It” campaign. Fresh insights from a Stitch Fix-commissioned survey found that men hold onto old clothes for a number of reasons, with almost half (46%) citing sentimental value and lack of time as hurdles to a closet refresh. Informed by these results, Stitch Fix teamed up with Key, who admits he is among the 28% of men that regularly wear items more than a decade old. April 21, 2022: “Euphoria” actress Sydney Sweeney has joined the Tory Burch family as a brand ambassador for shoes and handbags. Sweeney, who is set to star in the upcoming Marvel film “Madame Web,” is appearing now in the label’s pre-fall ’22 campaigns. In a statement, Burch said, “Sydney is one of the most talented and relevant young actors working today, but I am equally inspired by her curiosity and confidence. April 21, 2022: Recently announced as official footwear sponsor of the 2022 Minto US Open Pickleball Championships, Skechers has signed two of the top-ranked players in the world—Tyson McGuffin and Catherine Parenteau. The two athletes, who have been wearing Skechers Pickleball footwear and Skechers branded apparel on court, will be making their official debut as Skechers brand ambassadors starting Sunday, April 24, at the US Open in Naples, Fla. Through its multi-year partnership with the US Open Pickleball Championships, Skechers will provide footwear to all volunteer captains at the event. Additionally, Skechers will be onsite at the tournament with an expo booth so that fans and athletes can experience and purchase Skechers Pickleball footwear as well as off-court styles. April 20, 2022: Asics is launching its own mass participation race in partnership with the local organizing committee for the World Athletics Championships, Oregon22. Called the “Asics Uplift Oregon 5K,” the race will take place on Sunday, July 17 during the men’s marathon competition. An anticipated 2,000 runners will have the chance to race in the footsteps of the WCH Oregon22 competitors, running a 5K section of the same course on the same morning as the world’s finest marathoners. Asics will also play host to a two-day fan festival just steps from the finish featuring prime viewing, food vendors, athlete appearances and more. The men’s and women’s marathons will start and finish outside of Autzen Stadium in Eugene, Ore., on Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. Registration is now live and interested runners can register for the race is now open. April 20, 2022: Merrell has been awarded its first Association of National Advertisers (ANA) Reggie Award for its “Trail Running Month: Make Your Miles Wild” campaign. The campaign took home a silver award in the Small Budget Brand Activation Marketing category. Merrell and its agency partners, Supply + Demand and Words from the Woods, collaborated on the campaign which featured a strategic mix of social media, digital programming including email, display and paid social, influencers and brand ambassadors with the goal of reframing how consumers view trail running. “Our goal as a brand is to share the simple power of being outside with everyone, and the Make Your Miles Wild campaign was our call to action to get everyday runners to add a little nature to their routine,” said Janice Tennant, chief marketing officer of Merrell. “We are honored to be named among incredible brands this year.”
April 19, 2022: British men’s brand Duke + Dexter has made its mark with red carpet-ready smoking slippers and loafers. But with its spring ’22 ad campaign, the London-based label is showcasing its more-casual, fun-loving side with an ode to ’90s-era Southern California. Founder Archie Hewlett told FN that in February, his team departed overcast Heathrow Airport “and headed over the pond in pursuit of the sun.” The result of their travels is “Time + Place,” an exploration of Los Angeles that stars the brand’s designers, photographers and friends — and some of Holmby Park Lawn Bowling Club’s seasoned professionals — modeling D+D’s handmade sneakers, loafers and boat shoes. “Time + Place is a concept built to forget the days of flawless models and faceless brands,” said Hewlett. “It’s about showing you the reality of our brand, the people behind it and what it means to us: special moments with great people.”
April 18, 2022: Express is expanding its styling community with the debut of local Columbus collegiate football players CJ Stroud and Jaxon Smith-Njigba as the brand’s first-ever collegiate athlete style ambassadors. This announcement is part of the retailer’s goal to connect with new customers through a range of influential partners, including style editors, influencers, ambassadors and now, college athletes. Stroud and Smith-Njigba will work alongside Express and leverage their platforms to share how they approach dressing for off-the-field occasions and inspire others with their personal style. April 13, 2022: Skechers has been named the official footwear sponsor for the upcoming DIO Implant LA Open on the LPGA Tour. Skechers elite athlete Brooke Henderson, currently ranked 10th in the world, will return to the event to defend her 2021 championship title, competing against a strong international field of 144 of the world’s best female professional golfers including 15 of the top 20 ranked players. The LPGA Tour event takes place at Wilshire Country Club beginning Thursday, April 21, and runs through Sunday, April 24. As part of the sponsorship, the company will be providing Skechers footwear to lead staff and volunteers at the event. The historic Wilshire Tunnel connecting the front and back nines will be renamed the Skechers Tunnel and decorated with a story of top moments from Henderson’s career as a Skechers ambassador, as well as key Skechers Go Golf footwear styles. April 7, 2022: Cole Haan has released a new spring campaign and collection that celebrates “Move Makers,” dynamic women who strive to improve their communities on a daily basis. April 6, 2022: Giorgio Armani is the new title sponsor of the 15th edition of the YCCS (Yacht Club Costa Smeralda) Superyacht Regatta, to be held from May 31 to June 4 on the waters of the Costa Smeralda near Sardinia, Italy. The four-day regatta will also see a series of activities on dry land, including the opportunity for attendees to visit Giorgio Armani’s pop-up store at the Costa Smeralda Yacht Club, its new space in the Hotel Cala di Volpe, and the Giorgio Armani boutique that overlooks the Porto Cervo promenade. “How can you not love the sea! April 5, 2022: Thom Browne has released its latest childrenswear campaign featuring Jude Hill, who recently starred in the Oscar-nominated film “Belfast.” For the campaign, Thom Browne teamed up with photographer Cass Bird on a series of collage-style images that see Hill and his co-star displaying a cinematic range of emotions as they interact with a giant-sized Hector – Browne’s wire-haired dachshund. The campaign highlights the brand’s latest children’s collection, which features a new range of silhouettes and patterns including a miniature-dachshund covered suit.
April 5, 2022: Burberry has tapped Bella Hadid, Lourdes Leon, Jourdan Dunn and Ella Richards to help launch its latest Lola bag launch campaign. Captured by Torso Solutions and styled by Suzanne Koller, the campaign captures the attitude of the Lola according to the brand. “Orbiting Lola, the campaign locks onto the bag’s gravitational pull – an irresistible force that reaffirms Lola’s status as a signature Burberry bag,” the brand said in a statement. April 4, 2022: As it gears up to celebrate its 120th birthday, JCPenney has launched the “Shopping is Back!” brand campaign starring “Saturday Night Live” cast member Melissa Villaseñor. In the spot Villaseñor transforms into Penny James, who is described as “the ultimate all-in shopping enthusiast who finds happiness in every corner of JCPenney.” As a JCPenney superfan, Penny James is seen throughout video and graphics sharing all the reasons to love the JCPenney shopping experience. “The character of Penny James is a playful tribute to our customers and what they love about JCPenney,” said Carl Byrd, VP of creative and brand synergy. “We found a dream collaborator in Melissa, who graciously helped bring this unforgettable and endearing representative of our brand to life.” Additionally, JCPenney is taking “Shopping is Back!” on the road with a tour crossing America. April 1, 2022: Not long after announcing its partnership with the Chicago Bulls, shopping service Klarna has announced a collaboration with Chicago-based artistChuck Anderson. With the partnership, Anderson designed custom sneakers as a birthday gift for the NBA team’s mascot, Benny the Bull, that were presented at the March 31 home game against the Los Angeles Clippers. What’s more, Klarna said the sneakers inspired a limited-edition T-shirt that was released exclusively through in-arena and social media giveaways, which included the shirts waiting on the seats of fans seated in the Klarna fan-section at the March 31 matchup. Aside from the fan access, Klarna said fans can secure limited-edition merch through the social media channels and website of the Bulls. Klarna confirmed the collaboration with Anderson is its first in-arena engagement with the Bulls since becoming the team’s official shopping partner in January, which the company said will offer innovative fan-engagement opportunities through in-arena experiences and limited merchandise.

March 31, 2022: Pacsun has opened its first dedicated experience on Roblox called Pacworld, a fantasy interactive mall in the metaverse, created through a partnership with premier game development studio Melon. In Pacworld, players will be able to customize their malls with flair and aesthetics that can be purchased with their virtual income they earn in-experience. The starting point is a sunny beach island reminiscent of the company’s Southern California home base, where players can choose a plot for their personalized mall that they can build their stores. Shops are the primary aspect of the game, and each shop will generate its own virtual income to add to the player’s overall virtual income earned in-experience. As a mall’s popularity increases and is visited by more shoppers, modeled after their Roblox friends list, the players can continue to upgrade their mall by adding new fun shops and restaurants, along with decorations such as plants, furniture, and murals. To amplify the social element, Roblox players can visit each other to socialize and compare malls. Pacworld allows up to six players to build malls next to each other, while Roblox’s platform allows players to go to any server to visit their friends and check out their malls.
March 30, 2022:Dickies is celebrating turning 100 with the launch of its “Made in Dickies”campaign. The workwear brand said the effort celebrates the stories of the makers — including artists, builders, farmers, plumbers, skaters, welders and others — which often are iconic but left untold. The companywill debut digital, social and short-form video content on multiple platforms throughout the North America,Asia-PacificandEurope regions that will feature people who “encapsulate the Dickies brand” including long-haul truck driver Michelle Cross, farmer LuLu Salas, restaurant server Colleen Winfough, electrician Jo Limmori and cleaner Maurice Dedeaux. March 30, 2022: Bass Pro Shops has announced that it will expand its sponsorship of the Bassmaster Tournament Trail for 2022, a new multiyear agreement. With the new deal, the company will become a premier sponsor for the B.A.S.S. Tournament Trail, which includes the Bassmaster Elite Series and the Bassmaster Classic. Also, Bass Pro Shops said it has taken over title sponsorship of the Bassmaster Team Championship and will continue to be the presenting sponsor of the Bassmaster College Series. Bass Pro Shops also confirmed via statement that B.A.S.S. will participate in the World’s Fishing Fair at the Bass Pro Shops National Headquarters inSpringfield, Mo., which will take place from March 30 to April 3. The retailer confirmed that 50% of proceeds will be given back to conservation.
March 25, 2022: Sonora has unveiled its spring/summer 2022 collection campaign. Featuring model Amelia Gray, also known as the daughter of “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Lisa Rinna and actor Harry Hamlin, the campaign was shot by the Morelli Brothers, paparazzi style. Playing with a classic celebrity imaginary, Gray is seen on the Malibu shore and on the streets of Hollywood as indiscreet paparazzi lenses try to capture her laid back sexy style, her rebel personality and cool attitude is expressed at the fullest. Originally founded in 1982, Sonora returned to the market in 2021 with a new vision to create a contemporary twist of a classic cowboy boot. The project is not only a collection of shoes, but a starting point to develop a series of community-based initiatives which will turn the Sonora platform into a space where culturally relevant topics and ideas can be exchanged and discussed.
March 24, 2022: Designer Kingsley Gbadegesin is turning the spotlight on his label’s Clandestine Boots in a new campaign. “Welcome to Clandestine Club. Take your PrEP, lace up your boots, it’s about to get sticky,” the designer said in a statement announcing the latest campaign for his brand K.NGSLEY. The resulting images are unabashedly queer and kinky. “K.NGSLEY being rooted in activism and the club scene, this campaign ignites that Queer Black and Brown joy simply by existing, and letting our girls know it’s okay to live in your own space,” the statement added. “(Lick that boot, Sis! Make out with the hottie giving you the eyes).” With this campaign, the Black-owned fashion label also launched its “KINGSLEY Frame ” filter on Instagram.
March 17, 2022: Skechers is expanding its racing sponsorship deal with Belgium-based Team WRT after a successful first year together. Starting tomorrow at the first FIA World Endurance Championship in Florida, Skechers will be a primary sponsor on two Team WRT cars during the 2022 GT series: car #46, led by Valentino Rossi, Nico Müller and Frédéric Vervisch; and car #32, led by Charles Weerts, Kelvin van der Linde and Dries Vanthoor. It also will appear as a secondary sponsor on car #41 in the LMP2 series. “This sponsorship gives us a billboard in fast motion that keeps the Skechers brand front of mind with the global fans of this exciting sport,” said COO David Weinberg. Skechers’ connections to WRT extend beyond the track. The team’s parent company, Weerts Group, operates Skechers’ European distribution center in Liege, Belgium.
March 16, 2022: Puma announced it has tapped Peloton instructor Aditi Shah as a Train Puma global ambassador. According to Puma, Shah will support the brand in Train Puma campaigns, product launches and brand initiatives, and will be featured as the global ambassador for the yoga practice-focused Puma Studio collection. March 15, 2022: “In the Heights” and “Hamilton” star Anthony Ramos stars in Tommy Hilfiger’s spring 2022 “Make Your Move” brand campaign. According to the brand, the campaign serves as a vibrant clash of modern prep styles from the spring 2022 Tommy Hilfiger collection with Ramos’ world of music and pop culture. The global campaign, which also features Luka Sabbat, Georgia Palmer, Meghan Roche, Soo Joo Park, Alton Mason and Liam Kelly, as well as a mix of select dancers, is now live on all Tommy Hilfiger social channels, as well as in select flagship stores, which will be transformed to further amplify the campaign. The storefronts will feature a QR code that activates augmented-reality mannequins on Instagram, showcasing dance moves and inviting fans to take a photo with them and share on their social channels. March 15, 2022: Skechers has expanded its roster of elite golfers by signing PGA Tour rising star Matt Fitzpatrick. The English pro is now wearing Skechers Go Golf Pro 5 Hyper footwear on the course and the Skechers logo will appear on the side of his headwear. The multi-year global deal will utilize Fitzpatrick in marketing campaigns. Fitzpatrick joins a roster of Skechers golf pros that currently includes Brooke Henderson, Colin Montgomerie, and Billy Andrade who all wear Skechers Go Golf on tour. Former quarterback and broadcaster Tony Romo is also an ambassador for the brand’s golf footwear and appears in Go Golf marketing campaigns.
March 11, 2022: British footwear brand Clarks has signed celebrated footballer Raheem Sterling as its newest ambassador. Sterling, who plays for Premier League club Manchester City, will appear in upcoming campaigns for Clarks Originals and work with the brand on a co-designed product line releasing in July 2022. Having grown up in Jamaica before relocating to Brent, England, Sterling developed an early affinity for the iconic label. “To me, Clarks represents culture and that’s why I wanted to work with the brand in a big way,” he said in a statement. The two partners also will explore ways to give back to communities in Jamaica and England.
March 7, 2022: Legendary designer and style influencer Dapper Dan stars in Gap’s new spring campaign. According to the retailer, its newest ads aim to spotlight “modern American style through a dimensional cast of unique individuals.” Concepted by Gap global creative director Len Peltier and shot by fashion photographer Zoey Grossman, the also cast includes iconic ‘90s supermodel Shalom Harlow, non-binary trans-visibility artist Kai-Isaiah Jamal, humanitarian and model Indira Scott, environmental activist and Burkinabé model Georgia Badiel-Liberty, body-positivity activist and model Clementine Desseaux, and more. Feb. 22, 2022: Neiman Marcus has released its full spring ad campaign. Dubbed “Looking Forward, Forward Looking,” the campaign aims to inspire customers to embrace tomorrow’s opportunities, the future of style and transformation of seasons, the retailer said in a statement. Shot in the otherworldly Mojave Desert on Bristol Lake, its crystal-clear water and dry sandy flats showcase the next wave of designer looks. “Looking Forward, Forward Looking” includes more than 10 new and emerging brands as part of the 267 brands featured in the campaign across the women’s, men’s, children, home, and beauty categories. In March, Neiman Marcus will unveil its spring issue of The Book, which features the campaign spotlighting luxury designer brands alongside emerging talent and key must-haves for the season. Feb. 21, 2022: Beanie Feldstein, Deng Lun, Jared Leto, Jungjae Lee, Liu Wen, Miley Cyrus, and Snoop Dogg star in Gucci’s “Love Parade” campaign. Shot by photographers Mert & Marcus, the campaign is a celebration of the collection Alessandro Michele showed on Hollywood Boulevard in November. There, using the famed street as a runway, the brand’s creative director presented a collection that paid homage to the mythicism of Hollywood, an enchantment that has both personally touched Michele through his own childhood and also more broadly helped to build the Italian luxury brand’s own fabled pop culture status.
Feb. 15, 2022: Gucci has released the new campaign for its men’s Pineapple collection. The Gucci Pineapple collection lives through a vibrant and light-hearted campaign captured in the jet-setting beau monde’s beloved winter escape—The Colony Hotel in Palm Beach. A laid-back, highbrow mood pervades in the campaign as a cast of characters unwinds and tunes into the relaxed and colorful setting. Mixing collegiate and streetwear aesthetics in a palette of pastels complemented by deeper blues and greens, the Gucci Pineapple collection presents a light-hearted mood. Ready-to-wear pieces ranging from formalwear to fleece tracksuits are enriched by a patch recalling the number 22,705, the songs that include a reference to Gucci within the lyrics. Sneakers and leather accessories complement the selection, proposing the pineapple motif in a bright yellow print that stands out against the GG supreme canvas base. The collection will be showcased in Gucci stores worldwide through dedicated window displays and pop-ups throughout in the United States.
Feb. 15, 2022: PGA Tour Players including Justin Thomas, Webb Simpson, Will Zalatoris, Max Homa, and Sungjae Im star in FootJoy’s newest campaign. Called “Innovation is a Force,” the campaign was developed in partnership with creative partner Butler, Shine, Stern & Partners (BSSP). The brand creative will be accompanied by a series of 15-second, high impact videos showcasing FootJoy’s primary footwear launches this spring. This includes the all new Tour Alpha, the athletically-inspired Fuel, the Field, a new addition to the Premiere Series line, and an update to the Pro|SL. “Innovation is a Force” will run across global TV, Print, Digital and Social, and will be supported by paid digital and social elements. This is the fifth campaign from FootJoy and BSSP since they began their partnership five years ago.
Feb. 10, 2022: Dior has unveiled its spring/summer 2022 ready-to-wear collection campaign. Designed by Maria Grazia Chiuri, the collection celebrates Italian artist Anna Paparatti’s colorful questioning of the role of play in our lives. Shot by Brigitte Niedermair, the Dior creations come to life in the same chromatic spirit. A corresponding video showcases the color pops seen throughout the collection with a playful beat of Daft Punk’s “Around the World.” Spanning boxy jackets and miniskirts, vibrant looks and colorful versions of the iconic ‘Lady Dior’ handbag, influences this season range from the revolutionary 1961 “Slim Look” collection of former Dior artistic director Marc Bohan to the Italian art movements of the 1960s and legendary Roman nightclub, the Piper Club.
Feb. 10, 2022: Louis Vuitton has revealed its women’s spring/summer 2022 campaign shot by David Sims. Exuding an air of ‘60s pop, the bold and bright campaign sees actors Stacy Martin, Samara Weaving, Agathe Rousselle and Hoyeon, alongside singer Lous and the Yakuza, among others, are captured in dance-like motion against colored backdrops. The new Petite Malle East West and varied colorways of Coussin and Twist also take centerstage in the campaign, swinging in the foreground of the pop-colored campaign. The Moonlight sandals – tall and short – complete the looks as the footwear of choice to dance the summer away. The campaign will be unveiled in February print issues and on online platforms worldwide.
Feb. 10, 2022: DKNY continues its “Do Your Thing” campaign series for the spring/summer 2022 season. Photographed by Marili Andre, the label’s new “Do Your Thing For Love” campaign features real-life couples, model Ebonee Davis and rapper Smino, and designer Lindsay Vrckovnik and model Tyler Blue Golden. In the photo series, the couples show what they do for love and how they explore meaningful connections in modern day New York, according to DKNY. “Do Your Thing For Love” kicks off a series of monthly theses, followed by “Do Your Thing For Fun,” “Do Your Thing For Family,” “Do Your Thing For The Future,” and “Do Your Thing For Community.”
Feb. 8, 2022: Saks has tapped Academy Award-winning actress Lupita Nyong’o for its digital-first spring 2022 campaign. Shot by Joshua Kissi, Nyong’o is seen in the campaign in a stunning Versace matching set, as well as outfits from designers Brandon Maxwell, Mônot and LaQuan Smith. And, in a video for Saks, Nyong’o spoke about about her passion for style, upcoming role in “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever,” her favorite red carpet looks and personal career highlights. “[I approach my red carpet style] with curiosity and a sense of humor,” Nyong’o said when asked about her attention-getting movie premiere looks. “I love dressing up, it just reminds me of being a kid and coming up with outfits from sheets and towels and things. It’s a chance to make believe and to just live at a higher level. So, I have fun with it.” Tracy Margolies, chief merchandising officer at Saks added: “As a fashion authority, Saks strives to bring new, exciting and unique voices in design to our customers and this season is no exception. We are dedicated to providing the very best assortment and this campaign reflects the fun trends of the season to come.”
Feb. 2, 2022: Kaia Gerber stars in the new Ports 1961 spring/summer 2022 ad campaign. In the campaign, shot by Steven Meisel and art directed Fabien Baron, Gerber is seen in the brand’s patchwork graffiti print dress and a black sequined mini, worn with heavy chain jewelry and chunky platform boots. The model and actress is also featured in star pieces that further explore leather: cut on curves, ribbed and stamped like snakeskin, according to the brand in a statement.
Feb. 2, 2022: Fendi has released its women’s spring/summer 2022 campaign ad campaign. Creatively directed by Ronnie Cooke Newhouse and Karl Bolander, and shot by Craig McDean, the campaign is a “celebration of the joyful irreverence and empowered femininity that defined the collection, conveyed through bright colors and a delightful atmosphere,” Fendi said in a statement. The campaign features five models – Vittoria Ceretti, Yilan Hua, Barbara Valente, Rianne Van Rompaey and Anok Yai. According to the Italian luxury brand, the inspiration for the season comes from a logo hand-sketched by fashion illustrator Antonio Lopez, who drew upon his own “liberated sensibility” and Studio 54. What resulted is a modern perspective on disco-age glamour.
Feb. 1, 2022: Burberry has revealed its spring/summer 2022 campaign. In this campaign, raw studio shots by Mert and Marcus are contrasted with candid shots by photographer Chris Rhodes taken backstage at the spring/summer 2022 presentations. The differing perceptions allow the collections to transfigure in their different viewpoints, according to the British luxury brand. “The spring/summer 2022 menswear and womenswear shows had this visceral energy that was contrasted with really beautiful soundscapes,” said Riccardo Tisci, chief creative officer at Burberry. “I wanted to continue this dialogue in the campaign, a flicking between realities, contrasting Mert and Marcus’ pure youthful energy with Chris Rhodes’ raw youthful spirit. As we come out of lockdowns around the world, I wanted this campaign to make people feel something, free to dream, free to feel youthful and alive again. It is a beautiful dance, a very raw energy that’s powerful and full of life. Like an awakening.”
Jan. 31, 2022: Adidas is launching several new women-focused initiatives as part of the brand’s Impossible Is Nothing campaign. The new programs will focus on supporting new and established athletes via new products within footwear and apparel, athlete partnerships, and grassroots programs such as the Breaking Barriers Academy in Europe, which will provide educational resources to sporting clubs and athletes regarding gender equity in sports. Adidas will also continue to highlight female athlete stories via a film series that kicks off next month.
Jan. 31, 2022: AMI has released its spring/summer 2022 campaign shot by Sam Rock. The French fashion brand described the mood as a “road trip in the immensity of the desert, an escape from reality, an ode to friendship and life.” Shot in the semi-arid desert near Almeria, in southern Spain, the cinematographic images are inspired by the inimitable style of American indie movies. The mostly black-and-white photos feature AMI’s spring/summer ‘22 collection. Marking the first collaboration between AMI and Rock, the campaign was entirely shot with an analog camera — the British photographer’s trademark — which confers the campaign its nostalgic aura.
Jan. 25, 2022: Brioni has tapped Jude Law and his son Raff Law as its new ambassadors. Both will debut in this role with the spring 2022 campaign photographed by Craig McDean. The Laws succeed Brad Pitt, who has been a house ambassador since 2019. Last April, the Italian menswear company said it was collaborating with the American Academy Award-winning actor and producer a step further, by unveiling a capsule collection created together. That was the first time Brioni partnered with an ambassador on a capsule collection, which was called BP Signature. Fellow Hollywood legends Pierce Brosnan, Anthony Hopkins and Samuel L. Jackson were previous Brioni ambassadors. McDean succeeds peers Gregory Harris and Mikael Jansson in lensing the campaigns.
Jan. 24, 2022: Sorel footwear will air its first-ever TV commercial starting on Monday, spotlighting its new Kinetic Breakthru sneaker from the spring 2022 collection. According to Sorel, the brand teamed up with director Madeline Kelly, who brought to life a “story of grace, confidence and excitement” while unveiling the new shoe. Kelly worked alongside a female cast and female led crew, a detail important to Sorel, the brand said in a statement. A theme of empowerment echos throughout the spot, documenting a woman through an experience of changed plans, rising to the occasion and finding her voice. “The storyline of this commercial beautifully illustrates our core values,” said Natalie Hayes, Sorel’s VP of global brand marketing. “Sorel’s vision of fusing fuction with style has fortified our place as a wardrobe mainstay for any occasion, all year round. For this our first TV spot, we wanted to bring to life a day of our consumer, wherever their journey takes them.” The commercial will run throughout spring across Hulu, Peacock, YouTube TV amongst others.
Jan. 20, 2022: Rapper Iann Dior is the new face for MCM’s spring/summer 2022 campaign. The campaign, shot in real and virtual form includes still imagery photographed by Reto Schmid and motion directed by Torso with looks created by Haley Wollens. The resulting visuals weave between moments of serenity in nature and the buzz of a city, an intermingling of rural and urban — poolside, adrift in a colorful sea of clouds, or lost in a utopian ‘megastructure’ designed based on the graphics and colors of the season. According to the German fashion brand, it borrowed design aesthetics from metaverse artists Superstudio, Memphis, and MC Escher to create a virtual city-space that is “anywhere and everywhere.”
Jan 3, 2022: DSW has partnered with country singer, songwriter and television personality, Jessie James Decker to launch a limited time sneaker capsule available today. The Jessie James Decker x DSW collection was curated by singer and informed by her expertise and authority on sneakers. The collection features products from brands such as New Balance, Reebok, Converse, and Skechers, all under $150 each. “I am so excited to partner with DSW on this curated capsule of sneakers for every occasion,” Decker said. “From fashion, fitness, and fun, DSW is a one stop shop for me and my family for everything we need from our favorite brands and most sought-after sneaker trends.”

Dec. 28, 2021: Roger Vivierhas launched a new “Bonjour Vivier!” series on its YouTube channel. Hosted by creative director Gherardo Felloni and fashion critic Sophie Fontanel, whimsical weekly videos share information ranging from designs of 18th century footwear to the versions of Vivier buckles Felloni has designed. The latest discusses details like arch support and what makes a shoe “sexy.” In Felloni’s words, “It all depends on how you dress.”
Dec. 27, 2021: Macy’s Inc. has partnered with influencers Denise Mercedes and Maria Castellanos to launch a limited loungewear run, WWD reported. The pair has garnered attention on social media for their viral size and style inclusivity videos that showcase one style in two different sizes. For this launch, the influencers have curated their own Style Not Size for Jenni collection at Macy’s. There are currently three drops planned for the collection.
Dec. 20, 2021: Moncler has launched its newest digital service exclusively on its website, moncler.com. Called “Moncler Select,” the service features guest curators from the world’s most dynamic personalities in sport, fashion, business, and entertainment. Moncler’s first guest curator is 15-time Grammy Award-winning singer, songwriter and producer, Alicia Keys.
